Ferrer está em ação neste fim-de-semana defendendo seu país na decisão da Copa Davis e vai em busca de recuperação no circuito, após um segundo semestre bem abaixo do esperado.Baghdatis passa por situação semelhante. Vice-campeão do Aberto da Austrália em 2006, o cipriota conviveu com seguidas contusões neste ano e acabou desabando no ranking.
